Citizen Journalism- the learning process. Trying to find answers to some of the following questions: Where is the future of the media and the news industry? How will the traditional media merge with Citizen Journalism, and what will be the final product of it? Is Citizen Journalism just a current fashion, or is it really changing the way we perceive and make news? How revolutionary is Citizen Journalism, compared to other media developments over the history? What can other hystorical invention in the field of communications can it be compared to? How can Citizen Journalism change democracy, can CJ change it?
Finally, what are the most significant examples of CJ done today? How accessible is CJ news to an average citizen today (and what are the potential future prospects)?
What are the efforts done currently to promote CJ? What are the main CJ platforms? How are traditional media promoting CJ (the ones that are promoting it)? Why are traditional journalists affraid of CJ (the ones that are affraid)?
Why is it seen as a potential for information liberation and the development of democracy?
Who are the main CJ contributors from the developing countries, war zones, areas with opressed freedom of information?
Etc. etc

Newseum, the World News Museum, Leaves Africa Out of “Todays’s Frontpages” Three Out of 60 countries and 3 out of 649 Newspapers are from Africa. Uncomplete, but still arguably the best Front Page Viever on the Web.
The tool currently provides 600 newspaper frontpages from 60 Countries daily. Apart from being more friendly than other options, ie. interactive map view also showcases its Newseum’s tool weaknesses more than others.
Orange spots that are showing the location of the newspaper are numerous in US and in most European countries, some in Middle East and Asia, and virtually nonexistant in Africa (only three out of the total 600+ frontpages).
Gallery view is also useful because browsable by region and country, and it allows numerous contemporary page views.
Other features include:
archive,
pdf readable map for each frontpage feature,
analysis.
and, direct Newspaper webpage access from the Newseum toolbar menu.
